Squeezing through the crack in the cave wall, Mari stepped into the large cavern that held the hot spring. The luminescent crystals cast deep shadows on the walls while doing very little to light up the huge room. Just feeling the hot steam on her face made the seventh seat shudder. Turning to face her captain, Mari smiled.
"What are you waiting for, Soi-chan?" Mari asked, holding out one hand to her beloved captain. Though she knew her captain was reluctant due to the scrawlings on the wall, Mari knew good and well that there wasn't anything there. After all, the only reiatsu she felt were those of Soi Fon and herself. If there was someone else, she would've at least felt it in the slightest...
Ah, hell, the seventh seat thought, shaking her head, Look at us, being all paranoid. For all I know, Arashii could've made those. He would be one to try to freak me out and make me go to him... |

Following suit and slipping easily through the crack in the cave wall, Soi Fon stood there calmly, lettign the steam lick at her exposed skin tenderly as she finally started to relax a little bit, releasing Suzumebachi into it's regular form, sheathing her zanpakuto and setting it down, near the edge of the pool of hot water and giving a gentle sigh as her tensed muscles began to loosen. She wasn't even in the water yet.
Soi Fon's dark eyes looked to Mari's extended hand and shyly took it, head tilted in childish curiousity. The steam had already begun to gather in little shining, wet beads all over her exposed skin.

Mari smiled at her beloved captain and reached over, pulling her into a kiss. Gently, Mari pushed her captain up against the wall of the cave and pinned her there, kissing her passionately. She knew her dear Soi-chan did not like being pinned, but Mari loved pinning her. She loved that sense of dominance it gave her, even if she was, in all actuality, inferior to her dear captain. Mari could feel her hands begin to wander her captain's divine body, and she loved it. She ran her hands along her face, down her neck, across her shoulders, down her arms, and finally came to rest on her hips.
After what seemed like an eternity, Mari pulled back from the kiss and smiled gently, her forehead touching her captain's.
"I love you, Soi-chan..." Mari whispered, her eye glittering mischievously. |

Soi Fon gasped softly as Mari pressed her lips to hers, eyes steadily shutting, then snapping open as she was pinned, relaxing after a tense moment, letting Mari touch her body caressingly, for once. She even encouraged Mari on by giving a soft moan of pleasure into their joined lips and shivered just soon afterwards.
Her own hands wrapped around Mari's neck tenderly after a moment and blinked when their lips separated, blushing a dark red "I.. love you.. too." The words were actually harder to say than it seemed. Soi Fon had been hurt before by those words.. and would die if she were hurt again..

"Soi-chan..." Mari whispered, leaning forward and licking her captain's cheek. She felt her hands begin to wander yet again, but this time, they went up her beloved Soi-chan's stomach, over her chest, and finally slipped into her shihakusho top. With slow and gentle movements, Mari eased her captain's top off her shoulders. "No need to be afraid... You know I won't let anything ever hurt you..." Leaning forward yet agian, she touched her forehead to her captain's again and smiled. She wanted her so badly... She needed her.
Pressing her lips to her dear Soi-chan's again, Mari managed to slide her tongue into her mouth. Again, her hands began exploring her captain's flawless form, eager to get another moan from her captain. |

Soi Fon wriggled slightly under Mari's touch, letting a soft sigh escape her soft, pouty lips, shuddering from head to toe as Mari touched her flawless form, her osft, perfectly round breasts, it drew a moan from her throat.
She shivered once again when Mari told her she'd be safe..
"Do.. not dissappoint me.. Mari-chan.." she said.

"You think I'd disappoint you, Soi-chan?" Mari asked, mocking a pout as she stepped away from her captain and shook her head. "I wouldn't dare disappoint a goddess..." In one swift movement, Mari removed her shihakusho top and tossed it aside.
"Now, try to appease her, I'd do just about anything to please her..." she said softly, narrowing her eyes. |

Soi Fon blushed a deep scarlet, watching Mari as a deer in brightlights would do, taken aback by both the beauty and what few scars there were from previous, harsh battles.
".. Me? A goddess..?" Soi Fon responded, a memory flashing through her head quickly of Yoruichi as the Goddess she once saw her as..

Mari smiled, nodding. "Or should I say, a being that surpasses a goddess' power, intelligence, and beauty... One that is greater than a goddess..."
And it was true. Her body was marred with very few scars, despite the fact that she had gone into battle alongside her captain numerous times. One of the more interesting ones, though, was on her left shoulder. If you didn't know any better, you'd think it was only a birthmark, but if you got a closer look, you'd see that it was indeed a scar. What was interesting about it, though, was that it looked almost exactly like a butterfly.
Reaching over and gently touching the scar, Mari almost seemed as if she were trying to remember just how she had gotten that hideous yet beautiful mark. But, despite trying and trying to remember, she just couldn't pull the memory out. |

Soi Fon stared at the butterfly mark, rackign her brain to try and remember what had happened.. She couldn't remember if it was her doing.. or not.
Suddenly, Soi Fon strong arms were around Mari, hugging and holding her close, preciously petting her head as she kissed Mari's forehead lightly, "I am sorry.."

"Hmm? Soi-chan...what are you apologizing for?" Mari asked, a look of confusion in her eyes."It can't be for this...I've had this for as long as I can remember... Even before I joined your squad..." Smiling, she reached forward, kissing her captain's lips gently. "It was nothing you did... I really don't remember how I got this... But I've had it for a long time..."
"I should be the one apologizing... I must smell like a wet dog..." she added apologetically. "The sooner we bathe, the sooner we can cuddle..." she said, grinning. |

Soi Fon nodded slowly.. She couldn't help but feel like she somehow caused the mark.. even if she couldn't really place why..
Grinning slowly, Soi Fon tilted her head back "Bathe.. huh..?"
Suddenly, without awarning, Soi Fon shoved Mari into the hot spring waters behind her.
The captain smiled broadly, slipping her own clothing off rather quickly and diving into the water before her own perfect body could be seen.

One second, she was in Soi Fon's arms, and the next, she was hitting the steaming hot water of the hot spring. After being underwater for a couple seconds, Mari resurfaced and laughed.
"You crafty bumblebee!" Mari laughed, and, just as quickly as her captain, removed the rest of her clothing and tossed it, sopping wet, at her top. Crouching down, Mari went back underwater to get her hair wet. When she came back up, she shook her head like a dog shakes its fur when it comes out from the rain. She could feel her heartbeat quicken just thinking of her beloved Soi-chan... She was, to say the least, aching for her. She wanted her so badly... |

Soi Fon gave a relaxed sigh and settled into the water, floating atop of it quietly "It's.. peaceful here.. And this hot spring feels good after long weeks of nothing.. I ache.."
She floated there a moment longer before settling herself down onto a rock to sit, her small breasts floating a little themselves in the water, as she reached around and began to massage her shoulder, stretching her head away from it, as if trying to relieve some ache and tension she felt "Thank goodness I left Omaeda back in Soul Society.. I'd have bigger headaches than the kaibutsu.. he'd eat up all of our rations.. We're going to have to start hunting soon.. these kaibutsu must eat something other than each other.."

"Just imagine if you could just get rid of Omaeda..." Mari murmured, smiling. "Just imagine if, when we return, he's gone. What would you do then, Soi-chan?" the seventh seat asked, drifting silently through the water and coming up behind her beloved captain, reaching behind her and beginning to massage her shoulders. "Would you send out the squad to find him? Or would you replace him?" It was somewhat obvious what she was hinting at, but if her beloved Soi-chan didn't want to answer, it was perfectly fine with her. She would just bide her time...
"Just imagine how the squad would be so much better without him..." she leaned forward, whispering in her captain's ear, before licking the back playfully of it like her dear captain did back in the woods. |
