(When RPing as Xian, perspective is always second person! ^^)
The Raven. A beautiful creature…
You disagree? It’s alright. It’s quite common. A person who considers a Raven to be nothing more than an animal that scavenges off of dead flesh don’t see the beauty behind this creature’s importance. A Raven sweeps the world with one flock of it’s wing the remains left over after death. If a death occurs, the grim reaper comes, and when the grim reaper claims the soul, what’s left other than a carcass that would fade into the dirt while it’s remains are a disease to the soil it sinks into? Decomposing as if that was it’s only purpose?
That’s where people like Xian, a beautiful Raven, come and sweep these dead remains from the land and let the grass under their moldy flesh grown again. Lately though…all she had certainly ran into was these dreadful kaibatsu. These creatures that are in this barren wasteland that was ironically enough named ‘Paradise.’ What part of this place is known as paradise with these creatures running a mock? Then they say that she tread as intruders. Are they truly intruders? A threat? Or are they simply trespassers turned into pray?
It didn’t matter to Xian. She had decided to have her feast finishing up as she took the refuge of devouring the soul of the kaibatsu earlier as if she was still her usual hollow form. The sight was so ugly, she had hid herself behind a tree as she feasted while her talons had tore into the body, heard but unseen. She dropped a single feather to the ground while she stepped from behind the nearby tree with her Zanpaktou in hand and her body basking in the glow of the nearby string she returned to after a few minutes “static” movement through the area. She knew more were to come, but she had to take care of that one that was racking her nerves, waiting to pluck a petal that made her a rose. It was disgusting. It was like a stalker watching a little girl.
”Why do they lust over a flower that they adore because of the eyes, but they mourn for their ignorance. To lust continuously without so much of a sound advancement to pluck?” she had said with her face retaining that unread expression. The soulless expression that no little girl should have as her lips and cheeks forgot how to position themselves on how to smile, how to show fear, how to show emotion. A child who lived many years and knew her dreadful fate was a scary sight. It was like a little porcelain doll that became self aware and had a grip on reality to know that everything in this world that was sinful and evil was in her eyes a forbidden beauty. That’s how the young arrancer princess felt at least.
”It seems…that they can‘t advance unto this small reservoir.” she had said standing on the edge of the lake’s glowing light as it bask into her face. It wasn’t something she was use to, but in desperate times, it was beyond that appeasing sanctuary of a sight that had it’s uses. She sat down basking the Nightmarish lands as she stroked the warm soil from where she awakened in this paradise. How long had she been here., and what were these creatures? Compared to her....the Raven, they were nothing more than Rats.
